All of it is OUT NOW! Everleigh Collins is a student in 2021. It's her final semester of High School, and she is trying to make the final months the best they could be after everything seemed to change around her almost a year before. From getting ready to leave for school for the first time since before the pandemic started to tossing her gold lyric decorated cap at Graduation, she is putting those pieces together, all while finding herself in the mess. WARNING: The story does take place during the COVID-19 pandemic, and even though it is a backdrop to my story, it still exists in the story. Just a warning for anyone sensitive to the subject because I am too, and also to please stay safe! (Love you all :-* ) DISCLAIMERS Disclaimer #1: This is a work of fiction. This is just a silly little thing I wrote when I was 10 years old. I'll try and keep this short, but I was in class in like 4th Grade and we had some people from a nearby nature reserve see us every week. One day, the class was being disruptive so they left us a "creative writing" assignment. Mine turned into this story. The nature people really liked it, I brought it home to my parents, and they loved it and posted it on their Facebook account...and it kinda became a hit. Fast foward a few years, and I had deleted every single piece of writing I had written in Middle School (very cringe, nobody will ever see it), but I just didn't have the heart to delete this piece. I consider this the moment my parents saw it and realized their daughter would become a writer, that writer being me. 10 years after I wrote the story, I wanted something to commemorate such a milestone in my writing career. So I decided to share it with you guys. There isn't going to be anything too crazy, I'm not submitting this for anything, I'm just sharing something 10-year-old Amy Kitryn wrote. I only changed the formatting to make it a little easier to read, but I kept the language of it because to change it would feel like a crime in my eyes. So, here is little baby Amy's short story! Hope you enjoy it!

A fictional look at feeling grateful for the person that you think is the one...all while drawing hearts in a notebook. "I only have the ability to draw hearts in my notebook. Hoping that nobody sees those while I should be paying attention in class. One by one, big and small, each one there filling my mind with thoughts of love."
